Journalist Group Against Corruption (JGAC) is a non -governmental and non- profit making organization established by young journalists with aim to reduce corruption through various activities. This organization is dedicated to increasing public accountability and curbing corruption in all walks of life. It was duly registered in Katmandu district administration office in 2006.
It raises voice against corruption, irregularities and misuse of public funds. This movement has multiple concerns to curb corruption. For a least developed country like Nepal, our effort has a special relevance for poverty alleviation through various anti corruption activities. It is accepted that the poor are hit the most by corruption.

Mission
The primary mission of this organization is to play a vital role as social change agent to empower the Nepalese people through research, advocacy and awareness, investigative reporting, training and capacity building programs. Therefore, Nepal can be free from corruption practices in the days to come. It paves the way for corruption control, poverty reduction, democracy and integrity.
Vision
The fundamental rights of Nepalese people are guaranteed through social, economic, cultural and political justice. The principles of good governance are to raise anti- corruption awareness and building a corruption free society. Our vision is that government, politics, business, civil society and the people should be free from corruption for prosperous nation.
Objectives
The primary objectives of this organization are:
- To combat corruption in all forms at local and national levels through advocacy, civil pressure, professional interaction and awareness building,
- To discourage all kinds of public authority use for personal interest,
- To enhance the capacities of local and grass-root organizations through training, seminars, workshops and other means of information dissemination,
- To Promote establishment of a system of good governance through enhanced transparency and accountability in the parliament,
- To reduce government's contribution by mobilizing civil society organizations,
- To formulate and implement additional programs to help anti corruption activities and establish good governance,
