Corruption in Nepal

Corruption,abuse of entrusted authority for personal gain, is a scourage that no society is free of and it holds true of Nepal. Realizing its ill effets ,around 1768 AD, it was referred as the worst crime. Bribe givers/ takers were taken as the worst ciminals of lthe lmation. Code of conduct

Believing that one should have a good conduct in order to be able to ask others to have the same, jgac has decided to prepare a code of conduct for its members. The executive committee adopted a resolution on the guiding principles and moral standards to be observed by jgac members.

The members of jgac should not take any profit or pecuniary gain return for services they offer to the activities or programmes of jgac.
The members of jgac should demonstrate a high moral standards and voluntary spirit, so that the jgac's voice is necessary to inluence the process of public decision making.
The fund collected by jgac should be utilized with utmost case and diligence, so that no wasteful expenditure is incurred and maximum result is secured at minimum cost.
